I’m finally posting photos from my sister’s JMU senior session!
I drove down to James Madison University last May and met Nicole at her house in downtown Harrisonburg a few hours before our shoot. While she got ready, I hung out with her cat (who would really rather not hang out with me) and decorated her grad cap. She had some extra paint laying and had a design already thought out. She trusted me to paint her “bio tree” (the tree has a strip of DNA in the center of it, both referencing her Biology major)…I have not painted in years, but I love how it turned out!
Nicole and I drove over to the Quad during golden hour to meet Maria. These two are good friends and were in many of the same Biology classes together.
We had a gorgeous Spring evening…so us, and everyone else, were out taking photos.
We started on the Quad and worked our way around campus, hitting all the best spots – the J. Maddy statue, large white pillars off the Quad, bluestone buildings and ISAT. We ended at the arboretum and University Park where we popped champagne bottles as the sun set. So fun and SO beautiful! We went downtown for dinner afterward so I got hear all about their plans post-graduation.
Here are some of my favorite images from our session. Congrats you two! Wishing you luck the best of luck with your job search! 🙂
