Seven Oaks Lavender Farm Family Session
Lavender season is upon us!
Because of COVID-19, we were unsure for a long time how this season at Seven Oaks Lavender Farm would play out. Would we be able to open? Would customers be comfortable coming out to visit? Could I hold shoots? So much was up in the air.
After the stay-at-home order was lifted on June 10th, we cautiously began opening for the season, safety precautions in place, to ensure customers could get some time outdoors without risking their health and well-being. *For visitors interested in our changes and 2020 season information, click here.
When the farm opened up to the public, I decided to open a limited number of lavender portrait shoots as well. I see the Hobsons year after year for their annual portraits. Our shoot together was such a nice, relaxing opening to the photo season. The boys have grown up so much since I first met them back in 2017. Their personalities shine with so much freedom to run and play in the field, and they’ve gotten quite good at our “sitting and posing” photos…as long as they get their silly faces in too 🙂
Enjoy our first lavender portraits of 2020! While I am so excited for the few shoots we do have scheduled, I am also looking forward to a return to normalcy in 2021! Thanks Rebecca and family!
