Greenhouses, butterflies, sun dresses and flower crowns…I don’t know it gets much better!

I met this beautiful family at Wollam Gardens a couple months ago for our first portrait session together. We had the perfect summer evening for our shoot – warm golden sunshine and sundress temps.

There were yellow butterflies everywhere. They were flittering around the garden beds and past our heads in Wollam’s lush greenhouses. They were so docile, the kids could hold them in their hands. It was one of the most magical shooting moments I’ve ever experienced. The kids enjoyed running around the farm finding sticks and other critters as we made our way to various backdrops on the 11-acre property. We took some photos on their heirloom family quilt and mom and dad got some super cuddly portraits in the hydrangeas (their wedding flower!) at the end of the evening.

Wollam is always a dream to shoot at, and this family made the entire evening so much fun. Thanks again guys, I hope you enjoy your photos for years to come!
