 DC Winter Engagement Session

I met Christina + Jooyong on the Mall for their DC winter engagement session this past December. It was my last session of the year, and such a fun one to go out on!

Jooyong lives in Maryland and Christina in Northern Virginia, so the city was a great mid-point for them to meet up at while they were dating. They spent, and continue to spend, a lot of time here together.

Because of this, they really wanted to showcase their engagement using iconic spots on the Mall, so we started at the Lincoln and worked our way around the reflecting pond to the War Memorial and Constitution Garden Pond. It was freezing…and so windy! They did such a good job staying positive and happy even with the super cold temps. I am a sucker for neutral color palettes, so their outfit choices made me so happy! Perfect winter attire, while still being fresh and timeless.

These two are getting married this weekend, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to post their engagement photos. Congratulations Christina + Jooyong, I cannot wait to see you both on your wedding day! Thank you for choosing me to document your love story!
