Maryland Farm & Bayside Engagement
This was such a fun session!
Elisabeth and Kasey are part of my husband’s York County friends. Their group rolls about twenty deep, so it’s always a blast when we get together. Needless to say, we are SUPER excited for their wedding this Fall!
We decided to go all-out for their engagement session this past September. Elisabeth contacted me early last year to start talking about wedding plans, and from the beginning, she’s had such a unique vision and has really wanted to make each part of the process significant to them as a couple in some way.
On the morning of their engagement session, we started at Butterbee Farm in Pikesville, Maryland just after sunrise for some really beautiful shots amidst their flowers and rolling hills. The second leg of our shoot was a short drive to a bayside bar on the coast named Sunset Cove. Elisabeth grew up going here with her family and she and Kasey have been back many times since. We took photos on their dock and small beach complete with sailboats and ducks as our background.
This combination of locations made for a really fun array of green and blue, pastels and the vibrant colors of early Fall.
At one point, we were doing a champagne toast in the surrounding fields at Butterbee, and Kasey’s cork hit him square in the face. I about died seeing that photo for the first time on my computer. I still laugh every time I see it. Sorry Kasey, laughing with you not at you!! 🙂
Scroll down for all the prettiness that is Elisabeth & Kasey’s engagement session! Thanks so much you two, cannot wait for your wedding!!!
