Wollam Gardens  |   Taylor Breton   |   High School Senior Session

 

Taylor and I had the most gorgeous Spring portrait session at Wollam Gardens this month!

Taylor is a senior at Battlefield High in Haymarket and was accepted to Virginia Tech after graduation. She asked to be surrounded by flowers for her graduation photos – so that is exactly what we did!

Wollam Gardens was the perfect location for this shoot. Their farm is home to working greenhouses and fields and fields of seasonal flowers. Their blooms are constantly changing. During our visit a few weeks ago, there were succulents, blooming ranunculus, lilac bushes and dried hydrangea for us to use for framing. The variety provides the prettiest colors and textures to work with.

I loved how nicely Taylor’s outfits complimented the backdrops of the farm, and her makeup (done by her) seriously looked like it had been applied by a professional. Taylor even brought along her bunny, Thumper, which was a first for me! He was so cute sniffing amongst the flowers.
