DC Fall Maternity Session  |  The Vasey Family  |  Dumbarton Oaks

What a beautiful, beautiful session this was!

I met the Vasey family earlier this fall at Dumbarton Oaks in the city to take maternity photos just in time to capture their family of three before they soon become a family of four. Even at the end of September, we were surrounded by lush vines, roses and willows. All of the gardens were manicured to perfection.

Little Talia wore a dress that her mom wore when she was a young girl. Talia taught me the Spanish words for rocks and flowers and colors and water as we explored the gardens. Each new corner seemed to be more beautiful than the last. I seriously could have stayed here all day! We ended the session at Dumbarton Oaks Park just across the street as the sun began to sink in the sky.
