Babywearing International Spring Event
This was the springiest Saturday we have had yet this year.
The trees were blooming, the sun was out, the weather hit the high 70’s. Everyone was wearing pastels and little bare piggy toes were basking in their whiteness after months of being hidden in closed-toed shoes.
And in the midst of all of this prettiness, the babywearers of DC, MD, and VA got together at a local park to host their annual spring event. There was Easter egg hunting, arts and crafts, planting, playing the park, and all kinds of fun spring-ish activities for member and their children to partake in. I was asked to be the photographer for the event and hold family portrait sessions throughout the day.
It was great, I met some terrific families. The group was made up of such pleasant and friendly people, it made the day go by so quickly. I would do it again anytime.
