Sarah – one of my good friends and roommate all four years in college – has always had a dream to teach English to students while living in France. I told her if the day ever came, I would be over there to visit her in a second.

Well, that day did come, and I booked my flight as soon as our schedules allowed. We planned out our trip for months before the day of my departure, and the trip was incredible from the minute I stepped off the plane. Because we only had a week together, we ended up only being able to see Portugal (Lisbon & Porto) and France (Marseille & Cassis). But, they were some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and I don’t think we could have picked better cities to spend our time in.

I wanted to share a few photos from my trip – the amount of color, texture and style in each city had me wanting to take a photo of every corner I stepped into. Here they are – I hope you think they are as beautiful as I do!
